In November of 2017, the North Texas Fishing Addicts group was created on facebook. The purpose behind the group is to provide a friendly-family online community where members can get away from daily things like politics, advertisements, etc. and more focused on fishing. It is a place where members can give advice by casting a comment on a post or catch some tips to master their craft. One thing that separates the North Texas Fishing Addicts from other groups is the zero tolerance for drama and negativity. The content is carefully monitored by a team of admins and moderators to help maintain a positive atmosphere.

That positive atmosphere is what has helped the growth of the group and today we have over 15,000 active members. There are thousands of members who are sharing photos of fish they have caught, fishing trips, fishing gear and tips on how and where to fish here in North Texas. Unfortunately over time a lot of that information gets lost due to the daily activity in the group which has led to the creation of this website where it can easily be accessible.
